Photographer
After more than a decade as a professional photographer, including five successful years as the main photographer and director of Ivy Rose Studio, Kirsteen decided to refocus on what she loved the most – newborn and maternity photography.
She retrained in newborn photography and hasn’t looked back for a second. Kirsteen loves everything about her work, from meeting new mums-to-be at the most exciting stage of their lives to being a part of their journey and meeting their precious babies for their very own newborn photoshoot.

Makeup Artist
Mirren has over 15 years of industry experience, which also includes five enjoyable years working as one of the main make-up artists and director of Ivy Rose Studio. She loves nothing more than working with her sister, Kirsteen, on a daily basis.
Mirren counts her job as a makeup artist as such a blessing and especially loves helping maternity clients feel beautiful for their pregnancy photos. Being a new mum herself, she understands the excitement, nerves and hormones that are all at play. She also enjoys getting to know her clients while pampering them to perfection for their maternity photoshoot.
Our Mission
Our aim is to create a warm, relaxing space where you can be yourself and feel like you are among friends. From maternity to newborn baby shoots, we work with you to create the vision you have in your head. If you’re stuck for ideas, let us take care of the creative side of things for you.

We love being creative in all of our shoots and aim to capture your unique personality and style. If you have an idea for your Newborn or Maternity photoshoot, please let us know in advance. If not, don’t worry as we will guide you every step of the way so your Family photoshoot will really stand out.

Professional hair and makeup is included with all of our Maternity photoshoots, as well as our Family shoots. It’s important that you feel beautiful and confident – we will help you to do just that.
For our new mums coming to us for your Newborn photoshoot, we have so many adorable little sets and outfits to choose from. Our aim is for you to relax and enjoy this special day, as we create images that will genuinely last a lifetime.
